چکیده

Abstract. A second occurrence of bobtraillite is described from the Gejiu nepheline syenite, southwestern China. The extremely rare and complex boron-bearing zirconium silicate associated with albite, orthoclase, jadeite, fluorite, andradite, titanite, as well other REE zirconium-bearing minerals, catapleiite, moxuanxueite, låvenite, eudialyte, britholite-(Ce), calcioancylite-(La). EMP LA-ICP-MS analyses studied material give an empirical formula: (Na9.70Li0.42K0.08□1.80)Σ12.00(Sr10.61Ca1.14Fe0.07□0.18)Σ12.00(Zr12.87Ti0.53Nb0.31REE0.08Y0.06U0.02Th0.01□0.12)Σ14.00(Si42.41B5.59Al0.02)Σ48.02O132(OH)12 ⚫ 12H2O. Bobtraillite trigonal, space group P3¯c1, a=19.6977(6), c=9.9770(3) Å, V=3352.4(2) Å3, Z=1. Single-crystal structure refinement revealed that all sodium occupies Na(1) Na(2) sites; site occupancy these two positions 0.835(18) 0.15(2), respectively, suggesting Na dominant, while a vacancy-dominant site. [8]-coordinated has been assigned to Sr Ca, free factors, 0.874(10) 0.126(10), respectively. These new data indicate ideal formula could be written (Na,□)12(□,Na)12Sr12Zr14(Si3O9)10[Si2BO7(OH)2]6

Modulated structure of nepheline.

The incommensurately modulated structure of a natural nepheline of composition K(0.54)Na(3.24)Ca(0.03)Al(3.84)Si(4.16)O(16) has been determined in superspace. The compound crystallizes in the trigonal centered superspace group X3(00γ)0 with γ = 0.2048 (10), X = (0, 0, 0, 0), (1/3, 2/3, 0, 2/3), (2/3, 1/3, 0, 1/3), a = 17.2889 (8) and c = 8.3622 (10) Å. The structure is characterized by a framew...

Occurrence and Genetic Characteristics of Cryptosporidium hominis and Cryptosporidium andersoni in Horses from Southwestern China

A total of 333 fecal specimens from horses in southwestern China were genotyped based on analysis of the small subunit rRNA (SSU rRNA) gene. Cryptosporidium hominis and Cryptosporidium andersoni were identified in 2 and 4 stool specimens, respectively. The identification of C. hominis was confirmed by sequence analysis of the 70-kDa heat shock protein (HSP70) and oocyst wall protein (COWP) gene...

Structure, Gene Flow, and Recombination among Geographic Populations of a Russula virescens Ally from Southwestern China

Mushrooms that are morphologically indistinguishable from Russula virescens (Schaeff.) Fr. are among the most popular wild edible mushrooms in Yunnan province, southwestern China. However, almost nothing is known about their biology. This study investigated the diversity and population genetics of a R. virescens ally from Yunnan. A total of 210 samples were collected from 13 geographical locati...
